seasonally (every four months) GENiUS iN THE MORNiNG chooses one cause to donate 40% of our profits to. causes are personally chosen by us and nominated, through creative proposals, by you. below is a description of what we are looking for in the proposals, as well as some visual examples of creative proposals made none other than yours truly…
the main thing we are looking for in the proposals is creativity. this does not mean you have to be an artist! creativity comes in many forms and no form is off limits here. if you are a writer, write it. if you are a painter, paint it. if you are a singer, sing it. if you are a charming, witty, personable bad ass, send us a youtube clip of you being a charming, witty, personable bad ass. the point is: be yourself and do it however you do things best.
the only requirements of the proposals are that they answer these questions:
- what is the story behind the cause you are nominating? why is it important to you personally? and, if this cause is selected, how will our financial aid benefit your local community as a whole?
- why does saving the world turn you on? (ooooh la la). and how is your proposed cause related to bettering the world at large?
